The kitchen and master ensuite of this 10 year old home were looking for some upgrades and finishing touches to bring them in line with the style of the rest of the house.
The island in the kitchen was relocated to function better and be more connected to the rest of the kitchen. A beautiful ‘caramel ice cream’ looking corian countertop was utilized to create a seamless look on the large ‘L’ shaped work surface. Dark espresso cabinetry and a slightly lighter shade hardwood floor both act to ground the space and provide contrast with the light perimeter cabinets. A marble backsplash is accented with an inlay of marble ‘petals’ above the range and a cluster of natural shell pendants anchor the seating area of the island.
The master ensuite shower was opened up to allow more light to shine into a previously dark space. A feature wall of veined travertine was created behind the tub and shower with a shell chandelier adding sparkle over the bath.
This renovation was constructed by New Vision Projects.
