Still Life

This contemporary home offers unique styling with clean lines and subtle details throughout. With a new dining area perfect for socializing these formerly isolated rooms become one beautiful great room, with sprawling sightlines. The old nook where most of the kitchen prep took place has now been expanded; improving flow, and accommodating multiple chefs and guests at the eating bar. With a fresh new interior layout, the house has removed dead spaces; optimizing functionality while keeping an open-plan concept. Aesthetics were a high priority for the homeowner, and so layout changes led to high-level personalization throughout. Relocating the staircase without having to demolish the previous home inspired a core re-design and created a beautiful focal point. Other key changes were moving the laundry room to the basement allowing more space for the closet and bathroom, opening the rooms up and optimising creativity. This showstopping home was the recipient of several awards including; HAVAN Awards 2022 Winner – Best Interior Design Renovated Residence & Best Kitchen and Great Room Renovation and Georgie Awards 2022 Winner – Best Kitchen Renovation over $150,000.
