Brittany first knew that she had a desire to create and design when she was introduced to the computer game “The Sims”. She was addicted to the game, but not for its intended purpose. Designing the homes and selecting the paint colours and furnishings was what made the game so interesting.
Brittany was introduced to the design world in 2010 when she worked as a design assistant at SGDI, while completing her Interior Design Management certificate at BCIT. Taking some time away from the firm to focus on her studies, she completed her Diploma in Interior Design in 2015. After gaining a year of experience with a design firm specializing in heritage restoration, she returned to work with Sarah Gallop Design Inc.
Brittany loves to travel and the most memorable place she has visited is Lisbon, Portugal. When asked to summarize her design experience there, she describes it as ‘Paris meets Havana. The history and prestige of Paris with the architecture of Cuba, bright, bold, and vibrant!’ She continues to draw from her travels in designs she creates and loves the collaboration of the team at SGDI.

but when there is nothing left to take away” – Antoine De Saint-Exupery
